Xbox connects to network but not internet everything else is working

ok well my case is a special case, first of all I found out my modem was actually a router too so I connected all my devices to the network including the xbox and the internet works perfectly on everything else but the xbox. My xbox connects to the network
but not the internet and also it says everything under live status is up for example: Service:Up Xbox Stores:Up but it says I'm not connected to the internet nor xbox live. If anyone has any information on how to fix this please tell me. By the way I tried
connecting back to the old router I was using and it did the same thing, it connects to the network but not the internet.

Xbox live issue

I was in the middle of a game when it quit out. It wouldn't let me connect to live so I did a connection test. It will not connect to my network. My internet is fine! It's working on everything else. My wireless device to connect to xbox live that I plug
into the xbox is flashing green! Ii have never seen that! I've tried everything and it's not working! Please help!

 

San Jose xBox Live connection fails

I can't connect to xBox live at the moment. Network is fine, internet connection is fine, even reset to factory defaults and restarted network hardware. Still not working. Anyone else having this problem?

 

Hi, same story here. My xbox won't connect to internet since Sunday morning. I've been trying hundreds possible solutions countless times without success. It can connect to the router but the connection to internet fails all the time. Really frustrating.

I've been to that link already none of those helped but there is one thing I haven't tried yet which is adding the MAC address of the xbox to the authorized mac addresses for the router because I have no clue how to do that, if someone could give me an explanation
on how to do it ok windows 7 that would be great.
