Xbox connectivity issues

Discus and support Xbox connectivity issues in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Grettings, I went throuh the settings, network, then network settings as instructed.     Xbox connectivity issues


    Grettings,

    I went throuh the settings, network, then network settings as instructed. I tested the network connection as well. I see a 'Not Connected' message. There are no networks detected to choose from, yet, I'm able to get online via my iPad and type this up. Hardwiring
    is out of the question. There is one modem. The Xbox is in a bedroom on the second floor (west side) while the modem is in the den on the first floor (east side). There's probably 75 feet of distance in between each room, so, again, hardwiring is not feesible.

    How does this get fixed?

    How far are you from your wireless router? It could be that you are too far away for the xbox to see your network. If it is a long way from the route you could move the console closer to see if it can find the network. It is possible that they wireless
    network card in the console is flaky.

    Hardwired is almost always doable with a little effort , cat 5 cable is dirt cheap right now and the connection quality is miles ahead of anything wireless...

    It could honestly be a problem with your internet provider. Try calling them and have them check your connection. You may be being slowed or blocked for some reason.

    hi,

    do you try to clear the mac adress:

    following steps: Settings>Disk and Blu-ray>Persistent Storage>Clear
    it 3 times>Back to Settings>Network>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC
    Address>Clear>And then reboot
    console when prompted.
