    This has been going on for quite some time now, around 3 months, and it's starting to really irritate me. My xbox has a connectivity issue where it will not directly connect to my internet. I've gone as far as using a laptop hotspot that is connected to
    a wifi adapter that is enthernet cabled to my router, still... no fix. Everything else on this internet (AT&T) works fine, including 2 laptops, several other consoles, and mobile phones, with no problems; even my xbox 360 works fine. Everyone says "Oh restart
    the modem and router for (Set Time)." I've been doing that for about 6 weeks now with no progress. I'll be in the middle of a game and it will slightly ping my internet, and it will kick me out of parties and games in an instant. At the moment I have a wifi
    adapter enthernet cabled to my xbox, which is the only way it could work. Backwards compatible games from 360 suffer the same issue on this console. Any help would be appreciated.

    It could honestly be a problem with your internet provider. Try calling them and have them check your connection. You may be being slowed or blocked for some reason.

    hi,

    do you try to clear the mac adress:

    following steps: Settings>Disk and Blu-ray>Persistent Storage>Clear
    it 3 times>Back to Settings>Network>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC
    Address>Clear>And then reboot
    console when prompted.
