Xbox connected to the internet but not Live

With all this new technology with next gen gaming you'd of thought microsoft wold of been able to let us know somehow that there's a problem with xbox live! I mean an email or a mesege on our xbox dash would of been helpful instead of doing all the resets
and tests plus disconnections before redirecting people to a forum... Come on microsoft

 

God first the thing with cod and now this...and why does it always happen to me and not my friends:-(

 

@Wolfiestar86, you/I can play campaign on CODAW. Not sure why you can't. My xbox is connected to internet just not LIVE right now.

 

I have a feeling the fact Xbox Live is down might be due to a lot people installing both COD AW and Halo Mastercheif Collection. I was trying to install Halo after just spending £45 on it after completely cutting out the middle man.

So... it's all ready annoying these game installations are taking up masses of all ready scarce memory, it would therefore be good if the installations went smoothly for us customers.

 

Same problem here pfff the did a hell of a better job with the 360 al those errors should not be so bad but sadly it is fix this quickly or give us some more info xbox peeps this is bad rep u guys make this way

 

I'm having this problem to don't no why I bothered upgrading to the xbox one.. All it has its problems. The one time I finish work early and I can't even get promo packs in fifa15 as I can't get online. what a joke this is. Think they should of concentrated
on making the 360 run with no problems instead of creating another bit of rubbish that if anything has more problems than the 360.

 

Having the same issue. I have done the hard reset and cleared my settings on the network connection. This is ridiculous. Tried to enjoy some of my time off and have to deal with this.

 

Im getting the same problem here... this really sucks...

 

And its been more than a half hour since the promised "update" to fix this. Ridiculous.

 

not the whole xbox live is down as i have 2 xbox ones in my house anjd both running off same internet and both wired but one connects and one doesnt

 

i can play on one of my consoles but not the other, in the same house ,same network.

 

Same Here. It is unbelivable how crappy this Console is. It is like dealend with a new startup company. Why can't you just fix these Kind of problems once and for all? At the moment if anyone asks me if he or she should buy an Xbox I have to say: No you
should rather buy a PS4. And that campt be what Microsoft wants.

 

Yea this is ridiculous.. what the hell am i paying for?

 

Same problem, tried clearing mac address with a clear re-start but still nothing!! also tried to re-boot the router and console, still nothing .....HELP!!

 

I tried the clear mac address like someone suggested earlier in the post but nothing happened it claims im connected bit it still says "connect to xbox live here's some tips... Etc.
