Xbox Compliance Lock Issue.

Hello friends at xbox, my name is Aiden. I am seriously getting desperate at this point, I will fully explain a method in which a lot of people who buy and sell "og gamertags" have been selling in order to make people lose there xbox accounts via xbox "compliance lock".

Now let me inform you, this is much worse then a ban.

you cant use xbox or sign into outlook or microsoft.

And usually "compliance lock" was never abused, and was a security measure for hacked accounts.

However, the attacker can simply contact microsoft support using something of the following: (often using live chat) and say that they need a file transfer case for there hacked account (your account) since it was "hacked", however it was not. the agent will tell them a list of information they need to fill out and take a picture of, this includes console ID IP address new email and more information, however the attacker will fill out complete false information once the agent escalated the case to the recovery team, and the recovery team has come around to viewing it, they will compliance lock the account for "security" and I'm sure there is plenty of people who have been compliance locked and are unaware why, this is most likely why. I have personally lost 3 accounts and filled this form out : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...n-locked-aabee7ef-d644-4ce1-3043-2d43b2522ba2 9 times as well as over 11 live chats with agents saying they can get this "solved" or "fixed" for over a month.

To some that "compliance lock method" that these people have been using, they will contact support saying your gamertag was hacked and its theres, they will submit the fake information and then your account will be compliance locked in 24-72 hours with no warning since this person made a fake case on you.

Now, i will tell you a few ways to fix this issue.

#1. once the recovery team has reviewed the attackers information summited and its all false, simply unlock the account after instead of leaving it locked.

#2. Make every agent capable of escalating cases ask for the email address linked to the xbox account in order to make a case, or the original email address.

#3. simply remove this method of "account recovery" microsofts security is insane. you will not be hacked with security emails linked to your account, i have played xbox for almost 10 years and have never been close to being "hacked" with simply one security email.

#4. Make unlocking the account much easier, make the person enter the original email linked to the account, or just make it like the other type of lock, make them add there phone number.

The fact its nearly impossible to unlock my account after so many calls chats and forms filled out is sad, xbox needs this fixxed.

Now, if anyone with authority at xbox is viewing this thread. here is the gamertag of my compliance locked accounts in which where locked after someone threatened to "comp lock" me.

My first compliance locked gamertag: cgk

My second compliance locked gamertag: Optimize

My third compliance locked gamertag: cu0

All of these have cases open to this day of me trying to get them back, i was informed by a live chat agent that making a Reddit post might help people in authority get into touch with me.
