January 5 i had a three month subscription yet xbox still takes their monthly charge then on the 8th of January they took another 10.00.Now i've been a costumer for 3 years bought all kinds of stuff for my xbox all together i got a couple thousand dollars
invested in 3 years.i left sony because of the hack 3 to 4 years ago thinking that since we pay microsoft that the service would be a lot better.when xbox took both payments that were not expected my account was overdrawn.xbox want to so call fix the situatin
by giving me a free three month token worth 25.00,now keep in mind they took twenty dollars that was not theirs plus 30.00 overdraft from bank and i had to suffer with no gas for work so i had to walk and i had to inconvienece my sister in another city to
give my daughter a ride to school. if i go to switch back to sony my thousands of dollars worth of xbox stuff is almost worthless because nobody takes down loaded games an or music, or should i say i dont trust people with my email stuff so no xbox got for
at least 800.00 dollars worth of downloadable games.not to mention 2 different xboxes because first one broke down after warrenty was up 2 xboxex costed me 700.00 with kinect and other accesories all together a grand total of 1550.00 dolars.way to giv it to
me and my family without the ky jelly

SO IN THE END THAKS XBOX FOR A CRAPPY EXPERIENCE AFTER APRIL 12TH IS NOW FORCED TO RETIRE AFTER THREE LONG YEARS SO HERES TO ALL THE PEOPLE I PLAYED

    :)

Unable to retrieve purchase history for Age of Empires 3 on GFWL client

I've had my account for many years and have spent tons of hard earned money on Xbox and GFWL and new stuff on windows 10. I've been buying stuff since microsoft was first a company. How is it that a company with so much money and technology can't figure
out to let us play games from a few years ago? Makes no sense to me at all.

So I take it you didnt cancel auto renewal. And if 10 bucks makes or breaks you, maybe you shouldn't be gaming

  5. You could always plan ahead & buy a yearly subscription. That way, you don't have to worry about it until next year.

1st rule don't link your account to a credit card

2nd rule buy xbox live and gamer points from other local to you retailers

1500 dollars over 3 years equates to about 10 dollars a week not bad cost to entertainment value

Okay, let's straighten this out. Here's how it works, folks: Renewal date and Billing date.. not the same thing. Based solely on your description of events, Disowned, here's what happened. Your account was set up on a monthly auto-renewal. Your Gold
renewed on an unspecified day prior to January 5th, but had not yet charged, because your billing date was January 7th (Factoring in the bank probably took a day to post it). So just before the bill for the 1-Month hits, you bought a 3-Month Gold. Now, that
was a manual purchase, so it doesn't wait. Bills you $24.99 immediately. The 3 months has now been added to what time you have left on your monthly, which at this point still hasn't been paid for. Then, on the evening of January 7th (estimating here), the
billing for the 1-Month processes, but the bank doesn't have enough, so they overdraft. The bank has assessed the overdraft fee, not Xbox. The overdraft fee does not go to Xbox in any way, shape, or form.

All Xbox has taken at this point is the $9.99 for the 1-Month Gold which had renewed prior to the new membership, and the $24.99 for the 3-Month Gold itself. Now that the 1-Month is paid up, there will be no further $9.99 charges. You're now on a 3-Month
membership, and can expect only $24.99 payments once every three months going forward, until you turn that off or change it again. If you have issue with the billing events that took place, you'll need to contact Xbox Customer Support by phone. If you live
in the US, you can contact them at 1-800-469-9269 (1-800-4-MY-XBOX), from 6am - 1am, seven days a week. You weren't double-billed, however, and Xbox has no way of knowing how much money you have in your bank account. If your bank overdrafts,
that's a function of your bank. Basically the bank paid the bill, and now they're charging you extra for this "protection". Microsoft was never informed that anything was out of the ordinary, nor that you wanted to cancel your Monthly, which sounds like
it needed to be done sometime prior to January 5th to avoid the last $9.99 charge.

Hope this helps shed some light on what has been undoubtedly a very harrowing situation. Best of luck, Disowned.
