Xbox Companion / Xbox Game Bar: Party chat echo help, yet no solution?

To whom it may concern,

Hello, I've looked via google and here for a solution to the problem and it seems none has been found. I'd like to know if anyone at Microsoft has noticed the glitch with both apps and the fact there are users reporting the issue with echo in the party chat
when using these two apps on Windows 10 PC.

I am Xbox One owner as well, and have been an Xbox 360 owner as well. I've never had issues with Party Chat in the console. No echo, or audio issues unless they were induced by faulty hardware.

Fast forward:

When crossplay / crosschat was enable, I was delighted about this feature!

Since day one, I've never gotten it to fully work. This is across two different PC builds. My other gaming PC also produces the same issue. Completely different hardware as well as headset, and/or microphone.

So here's what I've found out so far:

If I party chat with my Xbox friends on my Xbox one, no issue. Audio is ok no echo.

If I party chat using the Xbox app on my iPhone. Audio is ok no echo.

If I use the Xbox One App / Companion / Game Bar app on Windows 10.
Audio has CLEAR ECHO.



ECHO BECOMES MORE APPARENT WITH MORE PLAYERS INVOLVED.

ECHO IS HEARD ON EITHER PLAYER. ONE LOUDER THAN THE OTHER.

MY VOICE IS ECHO TO BOTH PLAYERS. THEIR VOICE IS ECHOED TO ME AND ANOTHER PLAYER.

THE ADDITIONAL PLAYER ECHOES TO THE OTHER PLAYER AND MYSELF, THUS CREATING A HUGE ECHO PARTY POOL.

What I have done to troubleshoot:

• Enable and disable the audio device that is the communication device.
• Changed default communication device.
• Tried various different bitrates in the Windows properties
• Reinstall both softwares (companion / game bar)
  
  

I've also tried other software like Discord, the audio issue is not apparent.

Because of this, I've been unable to play with my Xbox friends on PC. My Xbox friends are lazy and don't want to download discord and I don't blame them. I should be able to use the native party chat app, but because Microsoft I don't think
is aware of the issue or hasn't found a solution. I am out of the loop.
