    Why are you shoving this trash app down our throats that is completely inferior in every single way?

    What are you doing Xbox?

    I am on PC and cannot create parties on this shitty new app. WHy are you trying to force me to change to it?

    Then you delibrately don't update Xbox Companion and let the connectivity lag in it. IT MAKES NO SENSE!

    Why is there an xbox companion app and an xbox app for PC? Just put all the features in one app.

    xbox companion app is a legacy app from early windows 10, they are moving things over to the xbox app and the companion app will be discontinued eventually. you don't really have any reason to use the companion app now, which is why it does not come preinstalled on windows 11. game clips uploaded to xbox live should be visible from the gamebar.

    You can still change it on the console and through the Console Companion app (not the Xbox app) on the PC.

    To be sure, are you using the Xbox app or the Console Companion App? Party chat has been discontinued for the Console Companion App.
