Xbox companion app server connectivity is blocked

Also tried:

1. Ensuring the data and time are correct
2. following the instructions here: Xbox network server connectivity on Windows is blocked | Xbox Support -- which seem dated. the xbox console companion app isn't the one i'm having problems with.

Finally, in the UI, this shows up as error 0x80048888. this error number does not appear in any KB articles.

We just checked the information you asked for in the Xbox Console Companion app.

For my NAT Type it shows moderate, for my girlfriend it shows it is Strict, and her server connectivity says Blocked for mine it is Connected.

Also I would like to add that she could connect to other friends' worlds' with no problem.
