Xbox Companion App "Record That" Issue.

I've been having this problem for the longest time. Its very upsetting when I cant save an awesome moment I got In game. What would happen is I would use game bar to "record that" And it does. But when I got to look at the clip the video is frozen with
an image and only the audio works. Any suggestions?

Me too! It happens at the worse times and I cant catch that moment! I've tried reinstalling xbox app and all that but it still happens almost half the time!

ive had similar issues so would love to hear what a recommended solution is as ive caught some epic clips recently

the companion app will go someday, recording is by the gamebar these days.

Sorry to hear it. I'm afraid the game bar cannot record your voice. I would recommend using either the Xbox Console Companion or an app such as OBS to record clips with your voice

ok but how do i record the party chat from the companion app?
