Xbox companion app parties cut out after 30 seconds

Ive done them all. They havent worked

The first thing I would need you to do is to make sure that your Windows has the latest update: Select check for updates now, and then select Check for updates. Or, select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates. If there is an available update, select Install now.

After that, attempt the following solutions:

Solution 1: Power Cycle the Internet Router:

1. Unplug the internet router from the wall socket.
   
2. Press and hold the power button on the back of the router for at least 15 seconds.
   
3. Plug the router back in and press the power button to turn it on.
   
4. Wait for the internet access to be granted and check to see if the issue persists.
   

Solution 2: Clear cache and data:

Head over to the Task Manager and close the higher CPU/Memory consuming tasks one by one from the ‘Processes’ section.

Solution 4: Reset the Xbox app: You can Reset the Xbox app from the Settings menu. Here are the steps:

1. Click Start and click Settings.
   
2. Select System.
   
3. Select Apps & features.
   
4. Find the Xbox app and click Advanced options.
   
5. Click Reset.
   
6. Restart your device so that the changes can take effect. Sign in to the Xbox app and check if the same issue occurs.
   

Solution 5: Delete the account and cache folders:

1. Open File explorer.
   
2. Navigate to the following:
   
   • C:\Users\[your profile]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_cw5n1h2txyewy\AC\TokenBroker
     
3. Delete the Accounts and Cache folders.
   
4. Try the Xbox app again
   

Solution 6: Reinstall the Xbox App:

Here are steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:

1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.

2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.

3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp*| Remove-AppxPackage

4. Hit Enter.

5. Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

I could be on anything, all I do is press windows+g then click a friends profile then click join party, then I can speak to them for 30 seconds then they get cut off
