Xbox companion app not showing friends

If your talking about the mobile app i had the same issue i had to delete the app and reinstall it.After that it worked fine if its the pc app i would imagine it should fix itself if you sync to your console.

Have you tried to uninstall/re-install the Xbox App?



Here are steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Xbox app:

1. Click Start, and then type Windows PowerShell on the search box.

2. Right-click, and then select Run as administrator.

3. Type the following command to uninstall Xbox app: Get-AppxPackage
*xboxapp*| Remove-AppxPackage

4. Hit Enter.



Launch Windows Store and download Xbox App.

My friends list has been missing for a number of months. My Xbox app, Companion app and my old Xbox One console all show my friends list still. I haven't encountered any error messages.

I didn't see anything in the console companion app, but I think that he sent me an invite directly
