Xbox Companion app not giving options to sign in a different account.

I use one Microsoft account for my pc. Would like to log into my xbox gaming account on the companion app. But it doesn't give the option. Just to sign into the account im logged into on the pc. The gaming account also controls other users. But i want
that gamertag to play under if that makes sense. I've done the sign out option. But to sign in it doesn't ask or give the option to log into another account just the one im logged in as already.

At the moment there is not that option still in PC I recommend that you suggest that option in the section of the application

guide for switching accounts.

You can only sign in to the Xbox Console Companion app with one Microsoft account at a time. However, you can switch between different Microsoft accounts. To switch to a different Microsoft account:

Open the Xbox Console Companion app.
Select Settings.
Select Sign Out.
Select Sign In.
Under Use another account, select Sign in with a different Microsoft account.
In the Choose an account window, select the Microsoft account that you want to sign in with.
If prompted, enter the credentials associated with that Microsoft account.

Not sure if it helps but... I notice when I sign into the Xbox app on Windows 10 it always logs me in first with the generic account. After logging in it gives me the option to sign in on a different account, which I do and sign into the Xbox Live account.
Is it a problem that it doesn't even give me the option to log into the Xbox Live account first?
