Xbox companion app issue

Please try to login in the Xbox app and the console companion app, see if the same issue happens

Close the Xbox app, open or install the Xbox Companion app, log in with your account, then open the Xbox app and see if it resolves the issue

Does your computer successfully sign into the Xbox app or the Xbox Console Companion app? I would recommend running a test in the Settings > Network tab of the Xbox Console Companion app and see if there are any issues listed there that we can troubleshoot.

Is this a new issue, or have you been able to sign in previously?

I think that I have managed to fix the issue. Launching games through the xbox console companion app (https://www.xbox.com/en-US/apps/console-companion-app), rather than the xbox game pass beta, seems to fix the problem.

So, is everything happening on mobile. Right?

When you say "I can't reconnect it because it thinks it still has a mobile device connected"

Is this about remote playing on it? Or do you want to re-add / setup the console on the app?

If it's the second. Did you tried "Adding an existing console" once you select the "Setup console" button?
