Xbox Communications Suspension

While I was at School my little brother was playing on my xbox and sent a few messages to a random stranger. The messages were not even bad though and now I have a ban on my account and the link to do a case review is not working. What do I do?

To answer your inquiry I will quote the statements of enforcement website. Firstly regarding somebody else other than you using the same account and getting banned:

"Xbox Live is a social platform, and we love hearing about players sharing their experience with friends and family. Xbox Live is at its best when everyone joins in the fun!

However, as the owner of the account you are ultimately responsible for how the account is used, both good and bad. When we issue a suspension, it’s not necessarily because you committed a violation, but because the account was used to commit a violation.
Even if you weren’t home or holding the controller when the activity occurred, if a particular Gamertag was used to harass other players or cheated in a game we have to hold it accountable.

If you wish to restrict usage of your account you can set up a passkey on Xbox 360 or Xbox One. And thanks to the benefits of Home Gold, it’s easier than ever for every member of the household to create their own Xbox Live account!"

Secondly regarding the possibility to file for a case review:

"Any Xbox Live member with an active enforcement action may submit a case for review through the account's Enforcement History, provided the enforcement meets the following requirements:

The enforcement's duration is greater than 24 hours in length

The enforcement was issued in the last 12 months

You may only request a review of your own active enforcement actions, and must be signed in to the account that received the enforcement (or signed in to the parent account if a child account was suspended). Prior to submitting a Case Review, you may be
prompted to complete a short questionnaire designed to gauge your understanding of the Code of Conduct. Failure to pass this questionnaire will temporarily prevent you from submitting a review, during which time we recommend familiarizing oneself with the
Code of Conduct.

This dude taunts me in a video game I came off as a nice calm guy, he striked first by calling me a nobody but I get my communications banned for 2 weeks for giving him a peice of my mind, this is highly unfair please help

 

Just so happen that 2k16 requires communications to play online which really sucks, omg he initiated the disrespect first and I get banned and can't play my own game for 2 weeks while he runs away freely and play online, this is absurd and again completely
unfair. I'm locked outside of my own game I bought with my hard own money all because of somebody started trash talking me. Omg enforcement team you guys can't let this fly my suspension must be overturned please this is my first suspension on Xbox one please
can this suspension get overturned.

My problem that I need to be solved is that this is my first suspension on Xbox one and my suspension was due to a guy who I message about the game in a non disrespectful way , he called me a nobody which is an insult so that's when I proceeded to retaliate
and yes I should've retaliate but I promise to never do it again. Because of my communications being temporarily banned I can play my own game 2k16 for 2 weeks which is the length of my suspension. I get banned but he get to play and enjoy the perks of Xbox
live while my communications banned for 2 weeks. Can my suspension please be overturned.

 

Doesn't matter who started it or sent the first message,if you retaliate with a message that violates the CoC then you are just as likely to get suspended.

You can ask for a case review by logging in with the suspended account here
enforcement.xbox.com/.../HowTo but as you have admitted to sending the message I doubt you'll get the suspension overturned.

In future it is always best to start your own thread instead of posting in someone elses.
