    Xbox communications broken after 24 hour ban lifted?


    Hi, firstly apologies as this may not be the right place to be posting this, but the suspension forum has been closed in favour of a 'case review' system which I cannot use as my ban has been served and lifted, so there seems to be no specifically relevant
    place to post queries such as this anymore (As far as I can see)

    Now, the problem is that my Xbox communications now seem to be somewhat broken after my ban has been lifted.

    I can send messages, but they do not actually get sent, but I can receive messages From other people just fine.

    i can invite players to parties, and they can join, and vice versa, but I can't then talk to them once in a party.

    To my understanding, if my ban was still in place I would not be able to even send messages or invites etc., so I assume something must be going wrong somewhere if I am having these issues after the communication ban has been lifted.

    Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    it is a 48 hour ban from communication. or 24 hour ban from xbox entirely. i beileive,

    24 hour communication ban permanent on my account record?

    after 11 years of being an Xbox live member i received a 24 hour communication ban. After looking into the page i came across the ambassador program and looked like something i would love to be part of but now that i got a 24 hour ban that makes me ineligible.
    i'm curious if because you can't open a case review for a 24 hour or less ban.. does that ban disappear from my account after so long and making me eligible for that program?

    Hey Cake!

    Sorry to hear about that, when a ban gets lifted, it is lifted at the same time it was given at the end date. So you may have to wait, try again 24 hours later and see if it is resolved, and also try performing a Console Power Cycle.

    I have tried this method and my ban has ended recently please help. I have tried a hard reset and I have toggled between the privacy settings many times.

    Hey Cake!

    Sorry to hear about that, when a ban gets lifted, it is lifted at the same time it was given at the end date. So you may have to wait, try again 24 hours later and see if it is resolved, and also try performing a Console Power Cycle.

    Thank you so much for your help and quick response! Worked perfectly and I can speak with my friends again! I'd already spent like an hour digging my way through other forums with no luck or advice other than "just wait" since I would have no way to contact
    Xbox Live Enforcement.

    I'll def be more careful with my messaging in the future.

    24 hour communication ban not lifting

    Try removing your account of the Xbox One then doing a power cycle, by holding the power button for 10 seconds till fully shut down. Leave off for 30 seconds, power back on and add your account back on.

    Forums and Support, have no access to Enforcements systems, so could not tell you any information on your suspension.
