    Xbox communication suspension not being lifted


    So yesterday I got myself banned because some little kid decided to report me. I went to enforcement.xbox.com and it said my ban was supposed to be lifted at 6:25. It’s 10:35 and I still can’t send messages.

    Account suspension

    Got a 28hrs suspension, saysaccount sent inappropriate messages or participated in inappropriate voice or text communications, which is not true. Is there a way to get the suspension lifted? Assume it’s someone just being malicious.

    My suspension was suppose to be lifted on 12/6/2015 6:49pm eastern time and has not been lifted yet. It was a communication suspension and I can't talk in party's at all. Can you help?

    Xbox communication suspension not being lifted

    This is a known issue.

    Try this to see if it works.

    Remove/delete your Gamertag from the console it is on.

    Power cycle the console by holding down the power button for 10 seconds or until it turns off.

    Restart the console and then recover the gamertag back to it. Hopefully this fixes your issue.

    This is a known issue.

    Try this to see if it works.

    Restart the console and then recover the gamertag back to it. Hopefully this fixes your issue.

    Sometimes the communication suspension time changes. You may need to go back to the enforcement page to see it. It should have the exact time and date the suspension will end. Also, if it is up, you may need to power cycle your xbox
    for it to recognize the suspension being lifted.

    If the ban has lifted and you still can't communicate try removing your profile from the console and re adding it to see if that clears the issue.
