Xbox communication ban to games

Thank you for the quick reply. So I did the soft reset this morning and nothing changed. I did notice that it reloaded my original customized profile and that the factory reset didn't wipe it? I haven't touched this profile in months (I'm the only one in my house). My communication and multiplayer privacy settings were set to allow and/or everyone. I reset it to a default open profile for adults and then I had my in-game text access again. I'm not sure why this all of a sudden became a problem? Maybe a glitch or something stuck in cache with my profile from the comms ban? This is the only setting I could see on my xbox that would apply to Xbox live games. Maybe there is another setting somewhere else I should have checked?

I'm sorry to hear that. Here are the steps that you can try for your concern. Just make sure that the suspension is no longer showing as active at enforcement.xbox.com

Solution 1. Power cycle your console

Please Turn off console > (press and hold power button for 10 seconds) unplug everything from the console > wait for 2 minutes and plug everything back > Turn On the console.

Solution 2.Try removing your account and add it back again.

To remove your account:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

To add it again:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Select Sign in.

Select Add & manage.

Select Add new.

Enter your Microsoft account email address and password.

Solution 3. Try to do a soft factory reset without removing any games and apps.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings > System > Console info > reset then keep my games and apps.

NOTE: This will delete the profiles on your account, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

https://enforcement.xbox.com and clicking the hammer icon to open a case review with the PET. Only they can answer questions about Live enforcement actions.

The bans for communications violations are both punishment and there to keep the gaming community safe.

By receiving your comms ban you have automatically been punished for your actions, At the same time this keeps the community safe as you will be unable to chat with or socialise with other players on xbox live during the ban.

normally that's a communications ban, for breaking terms of service or code of conduct... If you're able to still get on xbox live and play games that's not a console ban, someone could of reported communications from you such as a voice message or texted
