Xbox Combo breaker disc will not unlock characters only TJ combo the free QR code from season ...

Purchased the disc from best buy and none of the season 1 characters have unlocked, please advise and or unlock the characters I bought on disc. I spent 2 hours uninstalling and reinstalling direct from disc and neither option has unlocked the season 1
chars from combo breaker. ironically the free Tj combo char unlocked automatically from the QR code via connect as expected.

Disc version not working

Having the same problem - I have purchased the Killer Instinct Combo Breaker Pack Disc:

When I installed it, it did not install Season One characters - includes Jago, Sabrewulf, Glacius, Thunder, Sadira, Orchid, and Spinal, or Fulgore DLC. It did download TJ Combo.

This took 2 hours on the phone with tech support and neither rep could figure it out but a 2 minute google search revealed this which worked... shame on them and me I suppose... perhaps mention that on the QR when redeeming the bonus character or idk, including
an instruction manual, remember those?

Reinstalling the game did not help solve the issue for me. I did manage to fix it though by pressing the Menu button while highlighting the Killer Instinct disc in the Xbox Menu.

From there I went to the "Manage bundle" option where I found a menu with all the missing content available to download and install:
