Out of all my years on xbox I've never actually believed that everything everyone has been saying was true.

When you are on xbox.com you can only send 12 messages every 24 hours. Now excuse my french but. What kind of [Mod removed] is this. I should be able to send as many messages as I want to keep up to date with my friends, clan(s) etc. You know not everyone
is willing to share their email or myspace or facebook emails so you can communicate with them that way. NOT everyone is willing to do that because all the Hackers and Accounts Thieves that are on consoles now days that No Company does anything to stop.

I remember when you announced the Xbox 360 Release - This is the first console that it will be very difficult for hackers to hack into the games that will be able to go online so therefore you and your friends can enjoy playing in piece.

1 week after it's release there was over 250 Hackers by the end of the month there were over 5000 and the following month it was an infestation of hackers. "But ws anything done to stop it? Nope"

At least Rockstar and DICE do what they can to keep hackers out with updates. There is a way to keep hackers out. Don't know if it's legal in the gaming industry but I know how to do it and I know a lot of other computer technicians who also know how to
do it, I guess that's one of the benefits at University of Advancing Technology.

But that's besides the point. The point is you should make a update for both Xbox 360 & Xbox One, so that we can send as many messages as we want via xbox.com

IF this is a real issue, why the need for more than ONE message to give your opinion????

Many other options exist to communicate. After about 10 messages the point should be clear, I understand the need for dialog but, come on.

 

Yeah I never had a problem sending a ton of messages in a single day. Must be that you broke some sort of rule or it's possible you try to message someone who's blocked you.

 

A limit like that would make it difficult for the site to be exploited by bots for automated advertising. Personally, I can also send as many messages as I want on xbox.com, so the issue doesn't seem to be with the site...

 

Well he does have a valid point.There shouldnt be no limits on how many messages should being sent.

 

He doesn`t have a valid point as there is no limit,unless he has been abusing the system.

Messages can be restricted if he has violated the code of conduct or if he has been sending so many messages its being flagged as spam,and is being investigated.

Best to head over to the support section for an answer. 12 messages does seem a bit exsessive but, that's not my place to say. A reason why is NOT too much to ask for.

Some of you haters who have replied to my message/opinion seem to be somewhat confused on what I was/am saying.

On xbox.com you have a limit of messages that you can send to people or friends.

Let's say that your internet at home fails or their is an electrical storm that happened and you have to go to the library because it's going to take you some time to get your internet back up in running. Let's use that for the example...

Now your at the library and you and a few friends are talking back and forth either about CLAN stuff to keep up to date or maybe just to chat because their having family issues and need a friends or what ever the case may be.

There is a limit that you can send via xbox.com. It has nothing to do with Foul language or abusing the system. Ever since the xbox update that occurred a few months back, this issue has become over excessive for some/certain users.

It may be a glitch in the system, it may have had something to do with that update or maybe it's been like this for awhile now. I don't know. Even if Microsoft deleted this form and my account it wouldn't bother me... Why?

1) I have 4 Accounts paid in full including this one.

2) I don't care because it's apart of the gaming world.

3) If you want to put hate comments down instead of advising or assisting why this post were typed up, then here is my advice to you. "Go get laid, get a job and stay off this post because no one wants to hear, read or listen to your bs".

4) I see why now why Playstation & Computer gamers hate on xbox. It's because 80% of these gamers are Children, Teens and Adults that game instead of living life and working.

Now to continue.... I know that once this message is posted there is going to be hate comments galore. So I hope to see that some of you can maybe advise why xbox.com has it so you can oly send a limited amount of messages instead of as many as you like
as if you were on your console.

 

The message limit used to be around 300 per day,probably less if you were contacting people off your friends list.

To have gotten yourself restricted to 12 messages per day,either you have done something wrong by abusing the system or you have a fault on your account.

All of the "haters" here do not have message limits on their accounts,i certainly don`t.

I use the message system on here all the time,i very rarely use my console.

I also really don`t understand what going to the library has to do with it.

 

If I'm not mistaken, he brought up going to the library as in "If for some reason, such as power failure, I can't use the xbox to send messages to friends, I can go elsewhere that has a computer, somewhere like the library, and message them, but there is
a message limit in that case."

 

People find the silliest things to complain about. Clearly you dont trust these so called friends enough to give out your email, FB or whatever so why should it really be an issue if you cant send more than 12 messages from xbox.com? [tag:Firstworldproblems]

 

I bet i gave up reading that before anyone else did.
