i bought a prepaid 3 month subscription to for xbox music live. the code is not working. i am out $30, please help me to figure this out. thx!

i was told on the chat that it is a problem with xbox?

 

i just looked at my account and there are no billing issues. my subscription renews 1/17/15. i am not overdue on anything.
