I wasted 45 minutes last night with a horribly inept chat person. I hope this provides better results.

The issue is i get the error posted above whenever I try and use messaging on any browser.

 

You're not alone. There are plenty of others having the issue although Microsoft seems to be taking a hard stance that there is no problem. It's VERY annoying.

 

Is it too difficult to put an in-game lfg queue for nightfall and end game raids? I mean it is 2015 and ***

its been over a week now for me getting this message on phone and laptop when I try to msg someone from destinylfg.net using their shortcut to xbox.com but even if I go through xbox.com to message someone same thing. Never had this problem before

 

ok I have just gone and deleted all the messages I had on both the 360 and the Bone via the Smartglass apps and now for the first time in many days I can access the message tab on xbox.com

Not sure if it is an absolute coincidence with timing it right with a m$ fix or whether the error message was being caused by one of the old message threads on the consoles but it might be worth checking if deleting all the old ones solves the issue for
you

Can confirm as others have said. I had this issue for the past 2 weeks. Deleting all of my messages and trying again caused it to work. Not sure what happened but somehow clearing all old messages it works. Not ideal but its a workaround.

 

Wow, so after 2 whole days there is still no answer to this? Even though there has been more people saying about this problem.
