My phone got stolen I bought a new one I had a xbox account now can't access it due to error code 805a8011

I'm using the Nokia Lumia 1020 with 8.1 update. I get the 805a8011 code whenever I try to access the WP marketplace and code 0x805a8011 when I try to sign in on the xbox app. I've already tried a soft reset.

 

I *JUST* started getting this error code when trying to access the store or games application on my Nokia Lumia 920. Any resolution to this besides hard reset?

As mentioned, I first noticed this last night when I had a notification on my store live tile that an application update was available (showing a "1"). When I touched the icon to download the update that's when I got the 805a8011 error. It said to log in
to XBOX.COM to fix it. However, no problem there. I then went into the game application, swiped to the right to view my profile and got the same error.

I reset my account password this morning, but it did not fix. Removed two step verification as well.

Very annoying.

 

Got tired of trying to figure out the solution. Finally used the Nokia Recovery Tool to reinstall the OS. Back in business. No longer have the problem. However, would much rather have an easier way. If someone figures it out please share.

Try these steps below, and if you continue to experience this issue, please create a new thread.

1. Verify your Windows Phone's storage is not full or close to full. Make enough room on your phone if you are closed.

2. Ensure the date and time settings are correct.

3. Factory reset your windows phone.

• Navigate to Settings.
• Select About.
• Select Reset your Phone.
