Xbox.com update removes features

I sold my Xbox and moved to PC for many, many reasons. I still like to keep in contact with my Xbox friends who haven't switched yet. With this new website overhaul my friends list never displays "last online" for them, only offline. Can I get that feature
back? Or does M$ want me to shell out $500 for a toaster?

My apologies if this is the wrong section, this website is a pain to use.

Regarding the paymemt card you might be able to remove it if you login at xbox.com or maybe investigate if you can put a security feature on purchases.
