    Hey there, looked in the support section already but couldnt find an answer so thought i would try here. If i were to purchase a game on the xbox live store on the xbox.com website would i get a digital version of the game to download on my xbox or a physical
    copy? Thank you in advance

    Xbox store question

    Hi Guys,

    Do any of you know if the xbox one will start downloading a game as soon as it is purchased on xbox.com store?

    I have just purchased Trials Fusion in the store on xbox.com and my xbox one is in fast on mode, just wondering if it will start downloading for before I get home and switch it on tonight?

    Xbox one GWG download problem

    So then purchase the game on your Xbox One instead of xbox.com.

    Xbox.com Purchases

    Buying games from Xbox.com is the exact same thing as buying from the Marketplace on the console so everything is pretty much Digital, Now on Microsoft.com you can buy physical copies of the game and they sometimes have deals as well for physical copies.

    1. What is the exact error message when you try to buy anything?
    2. Have you tried to buy anything from the Marketplace on your console?
    3. What method of payment are you using?


    Hopefully, once we have these details, we will be able to solve your problem.

    If you are a child account, you CANNOT purchase on the website. It will not work.

    The only way you could is your account was actually an adult account, but flagged as a child due to a Family Pack.

    Purchasing something on Xbox.com

    That means that the transaction is being protected from being seen by anyone else online. The same as bank transactions, etc are encrypted.
