Xbox.com Purchases Not Allowing Account Balance

I just purchased Resident Evil 4 and it gave me no options to use my Xbox account balance instead of my credit card. I have a lot of money in my account and I could not even use it to make a purchase. I just checked another game (Code Veronica) and it is
not allowing me to select the account balance to pay for it either. This is unacceptable and I am quite upset over this. This needs to be fixed like yesterday...

You can't use a Microsoft account balance to purchase backwards compatible titles through the Xbox One or xbox.com. You have to purchase them on a Xbox 360 console using this balance.

What is the reason for not allowing the use of Microsoft account balance for the purchase of Xbox 360 content on the Xbox One?

 

Having the same problem cant even download "games with gold" monthly free game now, hopefully they will fix it before i miss it till 15th.

 

Unfortunately, you cannot use your Microsoft Account balance on Xbox.com. You'll have to use the console. Same for the Games with Gold titles, you'll need to do it on the console or add a payment method.

 

xTYe: I think, you really don´t understand. Marketplace is a lot of days totally down and nobody knows, when it will be back. I personally have this issue ("No Item") in "games" section of Dashboard for 9 days, i can´t buy no game, demo, DLC, even content
needed for playing, updates of games. Even in "Account" part of Dashboard my console have no info about my gold subscription, download history shows only "Item is not available" etc. Everything from console, not from xbox.com. And funny is, that the problem
is only with Gold accounts, because on my console i have several "silver" accounts and they are absolutelly OK (games, demos, DLC, download history, account info etc.). I´m paying customer for many years and this is really bad situation.

 

I can't buy anything for the market place either, thought Microsoft would been all over the issue.
