Discus and support Xbox.com/play issue- not able to use my wireless controller. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; For some reason xbox.com/play does not register that there is a bluetooth wireless controller connected to my Windows Laptop and My MacBook Pro also....     Xbox.com/play issue- not able to use my wireless controller.


    For some reason xbox.com/play does not register that there is a bluetooth wireless controller connected to my Windows Laptop and My MacBook Pro also. The controller type is a 8BitDo SN30 Pro, which is an Xbox partner company controller, so its an official verified controller. The same controller works fine is I was to stream through the Xbox Game pass app on either my Android tablet or Phone, so im not sure why it doesn't work over both Apple and Windows laptops/ Am i doing something wrong and can someone please assist?

    Hello again, it's really strange, if it was only on Edge and with the original Xbox controller I know that the last update made it stop working, but with your controller it's different.

    I can suggest a few more procedures, but your system seems correctly configured.

    1 - Type cmd (Command Prompt) in the search bar of the Start menu and then click Run as administrator.

    2 - Enter chkdsk /f/x/r/v

    Being in use the system will ask if the user wants to check the chosen drive after reboot. Just type S and restart the computer.

    Yes, all up to date. And weirdly enough.. i've installed the PC Gamepass App on my Windows Laptop... AND the controller does not work on their either. Strange! This controller works fine if i use the XBox Gamepass app via android devices.

    Hi, i'm using chrome to access through xbox.com/play. I've also checked to see if it could be the browser thats the issue, by going on gamepad-tester.com. But it seems to register my controller and all button presses etc on that web page in using chrome.

    Hello again, try to verify that your PC has the latest version for the 22H2 system and also try connectivity through other browsers such as Edge or Opera X.
