    Went to buy Fable this morning and had over £30 in my account in credit. But the only option I saw when trying to purchase via the website was that I needed to add payment options. No mention of the fact I already had enough money in my account to buy the
    game - which has always been the case in the past.

    Any idea why this is happening, as I have never had trouble before when wanting to use any credit I had. I certainly haven't ever had to add any payment options. Thanks

    Why do I have 2 Xbox rewards accounts?

    I recently signed in to Xbox.com and saw that rewards was now being shown on the account menus so I selected it and it said sign up despite I have been a member of rewards for years, so I used my details and signed in and it said thanks for joining rewards
    here's some points for joining etc where I expected it to recognise my existing account and show my existing reward points but it didn't. I was already signed in to Xbox.com at this time and it still asked me to join rewards not recognising I have been a
    member for many years already.

    I then went to rewards.xbox.com and signed in there to still find my correct original account and the correct amount of rewards points and how long I've been a memeber, yet on Xbox.com it looks like I just joined and have just started again.

    I would be grateful if this could be looked into and my accounts merged and recognising my correct points and how long I've been a member etc. Also for Xbox.com to be fixed and recognise existing rewards customers and automatically show the correct details
    when you sign in to your Xbox.com account.

  3. Randomly Disconnecting from Xbox Live

    addtionaly. It would seem today's issue of the day is some sort of problem with the live servers/my connection to the live servers. I'm signed in and able to reply to this topic, yet it's not recognising most of my account - 0 gamerscore, etc. Same on xbox.com

    Xbox.com is not set up yet to recognize the credit that you have in your account. At the moment, you can only use the console to purchase with your credit.

    However, the MS is upgrading the forums here starting this Sunday (Feb 9) and will last for 3-4 days during which time the forums will be read only. I can't say for sure but perhaps one of the upgrades will include the ability to purchase using credit from
    the website. We'll have to wait and see.

  5. I'm a bit confused, are you saying there is a distinction between me being able to have used points I had in credit compared to the now currency they use? In which case I guess it makes sense that I could use points credit in the past.

    I just assumed when they made the change over to local currency, that it wouldn't affect how your credit worked.

    As of what I've heard, MS changed to local currency because MS points didn't look like real money in the eyes of the government.

    As of what I've heard, MS changed to local currency because MS points didn't look like real money in the eyes of the government.

    I've checked all my details such as location etc and I have credit on my account. I've also tried inputting the error code it gives but it doesn't seem to be recognised. I'm in the UK.

    I'm getting exactly the same issue here. I purchased £5 of Xbox Credit and the code is recognised, taking me to the confirm screen but on clicking confirm, I get that error message. I purchased from CDKeys instead of GAME so this doesn't seem to be a GAME
    specific issue.

    I've PM'd Mister Quimby as requested but just in case it didn't send (there's no confirm message), I'll include the info here as well since it's not personal.

    I would really appreciate it if you could help me (along with the others in this thread with the same issue). I only purchased the code last week and it's really not been my day since yesterday. The code is recognised so that doesn't seem to be what's causing
    the issue, it's just not letting us confirm it and add the contents to our accounts.
