xbox.com/en-US always redirects to xbox.com/en-GB

Whenever I log into xbox.com, I am always taken to
https://live.xbox.com/en-GB/Home instead of
https://live.xbox.com/en-US/Home .

I am in the US, my billing address is US, and I have never resided in GB. This seems like a problem when I click on, say,

https://store.xbox.com/en-US/Xbox-One/Games/Max-The-Curse-of-Brotherhood/1d6640d3-3441-42bd-bffd-953d7d09ff5c because it redirects me to

https://store.xbox.com/en-GB/Xbox-One/Games/Max-The-Curse-of-Brotherhood/1d6640d3-3441-42bd-bffd-953d7d09ff5c .

is this activating the GB or US version of every game? I can't test at home since I don't have an Xbox One yet.

Scroll to the bottom of the page to the black-grey bar and on the bottom line, furthest to the left, it should say United Kingdom. Click that and on the next page select United States. That should resolve the issue for you.
