xbox.com/accountswap that I don't want my brother using my e-mail so I made him one

I don't mean this e-mail

I have a e-mail that I created from 2010 (hotmail) so last night he was annoyed that he couldn't do certain stuff after he text me. We're not living together anymore. So I created him a e-mail (outlook) last night from thinking maybe he would just learn
how to create an e-mail.

What I found out is (google) that if I change the e-mail 'microsoft account,
Manage how you sign in to Microsoft' Well verify then remove my e-mail. Place my brother's e-mail there.

When I use my (hotmail) emails, everything won't be there such as bing as well.

I did read that if I use the account swap e-mails. Nothing from my brother's xbox live account would change and my (hotmail) email will stay the same.

Account Swap Not Working

I've had an xbox live gamer tag for 5+ years that I use on another e-mail address that I never use. I bought a new laptop a few months ago and I log in with an e-mail address that I do use. When I logged into smartglass, it made default account (.)

I want to use this e-mail address with the actual gamertag that I use, so I did the research. I made a throw away e-mail address to attach to. I downloaded that profile to my xbox about 40+ days ago, and for the past week, I have been logging
on to try to change gamertag to the throw away e-mail address, and it is still telling me "Sorry, we can't change your Microsoft account right now. For more info, go to Xbox.com/AccountSwap"

So I have GamerTag A attached to e-mail B

I use E-mail A, and it made GamerTagB

I want GamerTag A attached to E-mail A

So I made E-mail C, downloaded GamerTag B to my xbox 40+ days ago.

I try to attach GamerTag B to E-mail C to re-open E-mail A, and it wont let me.

What am I missing?

I'm having the same problem, very frustrating. I have tried switching the e-mail linked to my Gamertag I created on an Xbox One, on my Xbox 360 several times... I get the same error "Sorry, we can't change your Microsoft account right now. For more info,
go to Xbox.com/AccountSwap" for no apparent reason (I am certain I have met every condition listed).

So far, the only solution seems to be to change my current Gamertag (10$), and then using the e-mail I want add an Xbox Live Gold subscription (60$) and start all over, using the same Gamertag.
