Xbox code doesn’t work

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for clarity on this subject. I can totally understand how this situation can seem puzzling especially if you don't buy codes that often. If you were sold a code that was denoted as MSA funds but it was 16 digits long,
then you need to get back in contact with the entity that sold it to you because as posted by @Onyx Is Here, Microsoft only uses 5x5 codes and
no 16 digit code will work.

Sorry to hear it. Xbox only uses 25 digit 5x5 codes. If you have one that is 16 digits please confirm the platform it's for. If this is for Fortnite you may have to redeem the code on their website

You may have to enter the code somewhere else if it is not a 25-digit one, so you may have to do some searching to see where you can enter it into.
