Xbox Clubs Ideas Thread

I haven't seen a thread like this here (even though I didn't look too hard but weh) and there were some ideas I wanted to share and questions I wanted to ask. But ideas first.

Bare in mind that I have no idea what is confirmed and what isn't. This is just something I'd personally like to see.

1. Admin/moderator control

I'd like to see panels for leaders and deputy leaders to be able to set permissions on who can invite to the club, add and remove players from the club and manage club information such as descriptions and the like, where necessary. Having this degree of
control is vital.

2. Multi-game support

I'd like to see clubs for more than just one game so people don't have to subscribe to multiple clubs for the games they play. I notice that there's clubs for individual games which is why I am also wondering if you can only make clubs for specific games
and not multiple games.

3. Custom logos/banners

I think it's a good idea to be able to create and upload custom banners and logos for your club so when people are looking for a club, they see an awesome banner and logo and they get interested. It adds a degree of personalisation and uniqueness instead
of grouping all the clubs with the same icons and all looking exactly the same.

4. All features within a Clubs app

I get the feeling that the clubs will be integrated into the games hub thing only. Having all the clubs features in its own app as well as within the games hub would keep the xbox tidy and confined, as well as it being an easy place to find clubs so it's
all in one place.

My other ideas include chatrooms and the ability to access them through the sidebar, the LFG section integrated into clubs, the ability to allow the supported games' developers community posts to be fed into the club community feed and a separate recipients
list when sending messages and invites between friends and club members.

Can we get this stickied to the top if it garners attention and approval of mods here? I feel I have some adequate ideas for discussion and refinement but keep it clean and relevant. No flaming or intentionally belittling someone's ideas without constructive
arguments or I shall report it. This is a thread for serious discussion and I intend on keeping it that way.

Some great ideas here and I certainly believe that Xbox Clubs and LFG are going to really up the ante for both Casual and Competitive players alike.

While we await further information/updates on Xbox Clubs and eagerly await the update here is the latest information on it -

This is something I have wanted on XBL for many years and cannot wait to finally have it go live. For now though we can all continue to talk to ourselves in game...

As it stands, it looks like the majority of my ideas have already been implemented, such as an administrator panel up the top and it looking like you could potentially place your supported games as your tags.

But I want to see and hear about more refinement on these things. How far can you administrate the club? Can you set moderators? Is there a hierarchy? Is there a ranking system within the club to honor the more active and social players?

Being able to fully customise and admin these clubs would be essential and expected, as a lot of people including myself would expect these functionalities from a service we pay for.

 

So what, I'm the only one with opinions?
