Xbox Clubs Activity feed bug

For the last month or so, I haven't been able to 'like' or comment on any posts that show up in the activity feed of the Xbox club that I own and manage. I don't have this problem in other clubs where I am a member, just in this one club of mine. The members
of my club are able to like and comment, but I can't. I've tried it on the console, the computer app, and the phone app. I haven't made any changes to the club's settings either.

I've submitted a bug report, but I don't expect a fast response. Has anyone else experienced this problem in Xbox clubs?

As a suggestion, has there been an attempt to leave that specific club and join again?

Are there any errors that appear?

I have been reading on the Xbox Insider forums that a few people have ben experiencing issues with clubs. And as you say you have submitted a bug report I think you are in the Xbox Insider program and it may be worth checking out the

Insiders reddit forums.

 

Thanks for your response. I haven't tried to leave the club. When on the console, my 'like' will appear briefly but then it changes back with no error code appearing. The comments just don't appear at all. When on the computer or phone apps, the error
message I get is "Something went wrong. Please try again later."

 

I am in the Xbox Insider program. I'll check out those forums too. Thanks for letting me know

Sorry it didn't work. I looked through my privacy settings and everything is set to Everybody/Allowed except for sharing my real name. Thanks trying though.

Try to remove the settings- [Privacy and app settings] Block them, and then power cycle the console.

How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console

After the power cycle try to re-allow the settings.

I gave it a try but it didn't work. I even unplugged the power brick to see that would make a difference to the power cycle, but no. Interestingly, when I go back into my privacy settings and switch it from custom to adult defaults, I get an error message
that says " Try again: There's a temporary problem with this service. Please try again." I've tried multiple times but I get this message every time.

After some further investigation, our Insider team was provided a video of the event.

Here at this Reddit discussion, the
original poster provided a post that the issue was resolved.

In this case, it would be best to try a console power cycle/restart of the console throughout the day to test if the "liking" for those posts is available now.

Please provide any feedback you might still have!

It seems there are a subset of users that seem to be experiencing similar issues and also seem to be a part of the preview program. That's good that you already reported the problem. It could be linked to a recent build in the update preview program.

Just for testing purposes, I would also recommend trying a
Soft Factory Reset to reset the operating system and restore settings to factory defaults. Your content will not be erased if you select Keep my Games and Apps.
