Xbox Cloud Service does NOT work as advertised.

    Hello

I currently own two Xbox 360's one in my hometown of Hartlepool in England and one in my girlfriends flat in Edinburgh Scotland

I constantly travel between these two locations frequently. I only recently started using the Xbox's "cloud" saving service and I am honestly appalled at what's offered.

I am currently was planning on playing a variety of games between the two locations (Dark Souls 2, EDF and Killer is Dead) using the service.

When I arrived home in Hartlepool and tried to load my Dark Souls 2 save I was told "items on another Xbox are waiting to be uploaded" So, the save hadn't finished uploading to the cloud? How was I supposed to know this? What visual indicators or even messages
are given to the user to make him aware? None.

I asked a representative and he told me "Oh your supposed to save the game and then load the last save game, that's how you check if the file has saved"

    (Sloppy at best)

Really? That's not how it's advertised as how it works? No where in Microsoft's guide to cloud storage are you told this?

The obvious fix would be to turn on the other Xbox on and let the old Xbox Sync its storage however that isn't possible for another two weeks (my girlfriend is on holiday)

You may think I'm making a mountain of a mole hill but when paying to use a service like cloud storage I expect it to work much better.

Is there any means of speaking with a representative?

    :)

  2. Family Sharing was "as advertised"

ms took away family sharing not those who stood up against the crap policies. quit living in your selfish self important bubble for a second and think about everyone else who the old policies totally screwed like troops over seas, screw them right? people
who were region locked, screw them . low income families, screw them too. they dont deserve to own and enjoy an x1 just so you can have your family sharing and downloadable library and cloud based gaming.

Hi, I'm a developer, Please buy 1 copy of my game play it for a few days, pass it to a friend.. have him trade it for services than have that guy sell it to a store for $5 so they can resell it for $40.. all this after I've put my heart and soul into the
product. For this is either the future or MS's knee jerk reaction on negative feedback after the reveal. Or did they mention this none existant feature during the reveal?
