Xbox cloud gaming won’t recognize controller

Please double check if your iPad is up to date, for this go to settings > general > software update

If you already have the latest iOS version please try deleting the Xbox cloud gaming bookmark from your device
Once deleted restart your iPad, go to Xbox.com/play on safari to add it again
Re-pair your controller with the iPad and give it a new try

Make sure the controller is set to PC, you should be aware that only standard Xbox pads work with cloud services at this time. Add best the stick would be recognized as a standard Xbox controller at this time

I have done these things and the issue still exists. I get the same thing as another person here with a thread about the gamecloud telling them to connect a controller. I believe this is the same thing that I'm experiencing. The Thread I'm speaking of has this title "Controller is not recognized in the Xbox Gaming Bar when trying to join game off of someone's profile when playing on Cloud Gaming"
