We're sorry to hear about your experience with Xbox Cloud gaming Beta. Thank you for the report!

Since cloud gaming is still on Beta release, this version is open for improvement. Thus, any game progress that includes cloud syncing, and even features is bound to have issues that may or may not be recoverable. We understand that you participated in Beta version to be able to enjoy and send feedback for the improvement of the platform and we appreciate you have reported this concern to us.

For this cloud gaming platform, feedback about the issue you experience is best performed after trying the workaround that was shared by the game support. For this case, please try this:

• I launched Starfield on my PC, but the window is stuck on "Synchronizing data..." for a long period of time, and the relaunch doesn't help
  
  • We recommend that you restart the machine and try to start again.

Thanks for the update. It looks like it's a game bug within the game causing it to crash via cloud gaming. Since Cloud gaming is still in beta, we could be experiencing some issues. If it happens again, please click on "Give feedback" so the Xbox team can investigate the issue properly.
