xbox cloud dlc not showing in non-cloud version?

I was playing the xbox dead by daylight game using cloud gaming, however I saw they had the regular version which you download to your PC. Due to lagging in the cloud version I switched to the one that downloaded on my computer, however when I open it up i don't see any of the dlc or progress I made in the cloud version. both games are on xbox under the same account. help?

The Xcloud and installed versions are different, as the cloud version is from the xbox. if there is one of the versions it is possible that it does not have it in the other and vice versa, I am sorry but they do not have shared progress in most games.

Yes, cloud gaming services like Xbox Cloud Gaming verify ownership of DLC. If you purchased DLC for a game on your console and that game is also available for cloud gaming, the cloud version should recognize your ownership and allow you to play the DLC.

The backward compatible version of Borderlands includes the DLC with it, so there is no need to download it. As for the cloud storage, only game saves can be stored in the cloud. Some backward compatible games include DLC that you can download to the Xbox One, others like Borderlands include it in game.

If she plays through Xbox Cloud Gaming and has purchased the game's DLCs with her account in its Xbox console version, then she will be able to play the DLCs while gaming in the cloud. This is because the version of the game running in the cloud is the same version of the console. However, if you have purchased the DLCs with your account, and she doesn't own them with her account, she won't be able to play them. Games and DLCs are not shared in the cloud, unlike downloaded console games with the Home Xbox function. The sharing function only applies to games downloaded on Xbox consoles.

I regret to inform you that in this situation, it is not possible to transfer DLCs from one Microsoft account to another. Nothing can be transferred between accounts.

Also experiencing this issue (Game Pass Ultimate). This game is the first for two bugs I've come across.

Cloud save is not visible on PC when created on Console (haven't tested the reverse yet).
Cloud save is visible from Android Cloud version when created on Console.
- However the cloud version includes the DLC, so once I played on mobile my save was no longer valid on Console.

Really hope they fix these issues.
