Xbox clips will not delete off the Xbox network.

Hi, I’ve run into a problem where my Xbox clips will not delete off the Xbox network. They delete and then reappear. I’ve tried restarting my Xbox multiple times, connecting to a different network, hard resetting, even clearing my Alternate Wireless MAC address(I read that it could help). None of them worked. I would love to resolve this frustrating issue but nothing I do seems to work. In addition, nothing will upload to the Xbox Network, even after saying it does.

Hi there!

I actually have seen this issue from other players already. I believe that this is a bug on their system where your uploaded captures are not showing on your Xbox app on mobile and also can't delete them. I suggest that you instead wait and try it again at a later time.

Hello!

I have tried numerous times to delete it off of Xbox network. Clips and screenshots delete just fine on the console, but when I go into on this Xbox network, my captures say deleted and then I click back into recent captures and they haven’t been deleted at all. I’ve power cycled the console, tried multiple restarts, yet the clips refuse to permanently delete.

Same issues. So I tried to delete a clip in the app and it said it was unable to. I deleted it from the network with the Xbox one and it deleted. I also deleted a clip from the console hard drive along with several screenshots and that works with no issues.

Sometimes when viewing clips on the network it shows old clips that I've already deleted, but they aren't veiwable. Switching between everything and game clips in manage captures makes them disappear.

This does not happen when I delete clips or screenshots directly from the Xbox one hard drive.

I checked network settings and it says NAT type: Open and all services available.

Still can't delete or upload screenshots at all, only clips.

I am having the same issue. A while ago Microsoft implemented a new policy where screenshots and game clips that are uploaded to the Xbox Network (previously called Xbox Live) will automatically be deleted after 90 days. However, I don't believe that they should delete themselves off the Xbox's local storage as well.
