    Xbox clips not recording properly


    Been running with this issue for months now literally only have a total of 17 recorded clips stored in my xbox but for some reason every time I go to capture a clip it will only record the 4 or 5 seconds of the actual clip and its getting ridiculous.

    Found that if you set your game clips to the lowest resolution you will be able to get 2 minute clips to record properly

    Yeah recording at 720p works just fine but I’m trying to save clips at 1080p for videos but before I was able too record at 1080p normally.

    Have same issue very frustrateing go to show a boss play and you get ridiculed for a 30 sec clip 2 minutes before the action even started

    One x game DVR not recording native 4K

    The Dashboard Preview team is aware of problem(s) with Game DVR 4K recordings not working properly and have implemented the 1080P recording as a workaround so that one at least gets a clip instead of nothing or an unusable 2 second clip. We'll have to
    wait and see if they continue to investigate and resolve the issue with 4K clips in future.
