Xbox claiming connected Ethernet Broadband is not set up, please help

Hello.

So here's the deal, everything was fine yesterday, I could play games, browse, and download stuff with my Xbox One.

But today. it claims that I'm not connected despite using a wired connection to my working router; if it wasn't working, I wouldn't be able to make this post.

I've already tried removing my profile(can't reload that in until it decides it's connected to the internet), hard 8 second power button press--power cord disconnection restart, restarting my router, clearing Xbox One's MAC Address, and setting all my Xbox One
network settings to automatic.

I'm at a loss as to what the problem is now, if you have any ideas on fixing this, let me know.

cant connect my BT youview tv box

Hi folks just wondering if anyone can help. I have just changed back to bt broadband set up the router alls fine internet connected great. Set up the youview box no problem, but cant get it so i can watch through the xbox one. It just says we have lost your
signal. Is this a compatability issue or am i missing something. Help appreciated please.

 

Xbox One - Wired connection help

Just booted up my Xbox this afternoon and noticed I was not connected to Live. I've been connected directly through ethernet for the entire time I've had this Xbox and I've never had an issue with this before. I've checked the connection, made sure nothing
is loose, etc. Other devices work just fine, but when I log into the network settings in the Xbox,it says it is not connected and that I need to "Plug in an Ethernet Cable, or set up a wireless Network." I've set up the wireless network and it logs me in just
fine, but I really prefer being online through wired connection for speed reasons. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Please help!

Sorry to hear the connection troubles. Have you by chance had a chance to test a different Ethernet cable to see if there's any change?

 

3 different cables in fact, all of which work with all other ethernet cable compatible devices. So far, my Xbox One simply refuses to acknowledge them.

Are you able to try bypassing your router and plugging directly into your modem to see if there's any change? It's sounding like it might be an issue with your Ethernet port, but keep us updated.
