XBox Child Profile

I have set up a Microsoft Family child account for each of our kids. When it asks for an adult email address for accepting the terms / approval, and I put in our valid email & password, the next page pops up that says:

We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found.

The URL may be misspelled or the page you're looking for is no longer available.

I have already set up the Microsoft Family account and they have been successfully added, however this won't let me continue as that I can finish setting up their individual XBox profiles.

Any ideas?

We understand that you're experiencing an issue concerning the inability to approve permissions when prompted to do so, as error occurs when doing so.

We would like to suggest that if the parent account has not yet been added to the Xbox One console, that it be added and that all family members are showing up be checked within the family section of the console.

It might be best to also follow the information provided through our parental consent and Microsoft
child accounts support article.

Try these and let us know if this works.

I am experiencing the exact same issue. Every Xbox forum post I go to in regards to this issue, everyone keeps suggesting that we "add the account the the
Xbox One Console". To make it clear with my issue, my household dose
NOT have an Xbox Live Console and know for a fact that you do
not need one to resolve this error.

I have two daughters who I want to play minecraft with, they have Apple devices and I am using my PC (windows). Both of my girls are already in my Microsoft account "family" with their hotmail accounts. I have successfully set up my youngest daughter's Xbox
account and her and I were able to connect and play minecraft together a month ago (December). A month later (today), I tried to follow the exact same steps using the xbox website for my older daughter; right after I enter my password to create her account
I am sent to the next page with that states

"We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found.

The URL may be misspelled or the page you're looking for is no longer available."

I strongly feel this is actually a bug that needs to be addressed, as I was able to do this with no issues before. Again, if you are replying to this post to provide resolution steps, we do NOT have an Xbox Live Console and SHOULD NOT require one.

Sorry, but you will need to have an email address set up for your son's account. Perhaps consider doing what I have done. Both my 11 and 4 year olds have email accounts that I set up for the gamertags and I control. They have no access to them whatsoever.

Hey Andrew,

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Unfortunately, The birthdate added to the Xbox profile cannot be changed or manipulated. Your account will have to graduate to an adult account naturally. I recommend adding your account back to your original
family. All teen/child accounts require an adult account to manage your privacy settings.
