Xbox chat via PC while streaming?

I have recently broken my headset, so in order to join party chat I have to do so through the xbox app in windows. If I am using this method to chat to teammates, will my party audio still be audible if I'm streaming via the xbox twitch app and lightstream?

I am not a streamer so can't say for sure but I suspect other people in the party won't be able to be broadcast.....you will only be able to broadcast audio via Lightstream and, near as I can tell, while it has an audio capture option, I suspect it won't have a party chat option.

Ok, so I figured out that to get game audio/chat to work while streaming, we had to hook the controller up to the computer we are streaming to via USB. The headset stayed plugged into the controller. Yay! Game audio AND chat!

NEXT PROBLEM: there seems to be no way to control game volume/chat volume while streaming. We have mute chat at the top, but that is all. The computer volume controls do not affect the stream, and the volume controls on the controller adapter also seem to
do nothing.

How do you control game/chat volume while streaming?

Yes this is possible, I stream like this all the time.

There are two ways to do this first is if you bought an external capture device.

Second way is how I do it, you can use the Xbox Companion app on your PC to remote play your Xbox, then use a streaming app on your pc to stream the Xbox Companion app. Just note that you may want to join party chats via the Xbox companion app instead of
on your console and also continue to play via controller on your Xbox to not experience delays playing via the pc app.

For my part I stream my Xbox on my PC and then I capture the window of the console in Xsplit.

For chatting I create the group of friends via the Xbox PC app before launching the stream of the console on the PC and so we hear the sound of the group of friends in Xsplit at the same time as the game because the software captures what I hear in my headphones.

Then I go back to my console to play.

In short I play on my Xbox but I stream my game on my PC and am in a group of friends on the PC, which stream via Xsplit all on Twitch.

I'm also unable to hear or chat when in a party when I stream an xbox game on my desktop via the Xbox App; once I stop streaming - chat is restored.
