Xbox charged my card for a 12 month gold membership. I didn't have enough to buy it, but ...

Microsoft auto renewed my 12 month gold membership, but i had insufficient funds in the account. When i purchased a 12 month gold code on amazon, it wouldnt let me enter it. Im hoping microsoft could take off the freeze they put on my account so i can enter
my 12 month code.

XBox Live Glold membership is not available to buy with credits. Only MasterCard. ERROR?

I need to buy a XBox Live Membership for another 12 month but the Store wont let me. I have over 80€ as credits loaded and can buy any Game in the store with it, but it wont let me buy the Gold Membership. Im not willing to invest another 60€ in a Live Gold
card so i can redeem the Code. So my simple Question is: "How can i buy a Gold Membership 12 Months, witch costs 59,99€ with my already loaded up credits?"

 

Getting an error when trying to buy a 12 month Gold membership with my credit card

Hello. I am posting about buying xbox live gold membership with my credit card. I have tried my debit card and got an error. Removed that card and added my credit card and got an error. I know for a fact that my credit card should work and it has no restrictions.
I have been in multiple live chats with xbox support and one just told me today that there's a problem and xbox live memberships don't stack right now and to add the membership on the day it expires. A previous one told me to buy a prepaid card at a store
and try that. It confirmed that it was a 12 month membership card and then I go to confirm it and I got an error. I did add my credit card incorrectly with a wrong phone number that I forgot that I used my other phone for the credit card and have changed it
to the correct one and I still got an error when I try to buy an 12 month xbox live gold membership with it. Thankfully my 50$ Microsoft Money card I also bought went though without a problem. (I'm trying to buy Battlefield 4 premium on the xbox one) One of
the chat people removed my credit card from my account for me and I won't add it back because of the fact that I now own a 12 month membership prepaid card and don't want to be automatically charged for more membership. I will add it back after I use the prepaid
card. I had one of my chats forwarded to the advocacy group and got an email 2 days later and it didn't help.

I want an explanation about this problem and I want to know if the all the times I tried to buy membership will go trough once my membership expires soon. (I've tried about ~10 times both cards combined) I also want to know what one of the chat people said
about my 8 year streak. If my membership runs out and I enter the 12 month card on the same day will I lose my 8 year streak of continuous membership? (this is VERY important to me)

P.S. I have the error code from my first error written down. And also the error code from my prepaid card.

 

When you leave auto-renewal on and Microsoft cannot charge you, you accrue a balance you have to pay before you can add a prepaid card. You would need to pay off the balance you owe in order to use the prepaid card.

If you have a renewing 12 months subscription and wish to redeem 12 months PPC, they can just cancel the current 12 months and waive off the renewal charge for you to redeem the code. Please contact Xbox Customer Support to process it for you.
