    Xbox causing slow download??


    Hey all,

    Been having issues with my download speed when installing/updating xbox games on my xbox one X

    Ive run speed tests on my phone, xbox xnd computer and all say 45mbps but whenever i download ANY game its speed sits between 1 to 4 mbps. Wireless and cable doesnt seem to make a difference.

    Has anyone experienced issues with an xbox causing slow download speeds? Can it even do that?

    If anyone has any info for me, it would be great because i am scratching my head on this one

    Downloads slow?

    Sometimes like a computer, the xbox has background processes that overload the CPU and cause the downloads to slow down. However, there are also parts in each download that are slowed intebtionally due to the aspect of the download section it is at.

    The issue isn't that the Xbox is downloading slow, the issue is that when it is downloading its causing the network to be unusable by other devices, even as far as simple pings

    Sometimes it could also be down to the load on the servers. If there is a lot of people downloading games, then it can be the cause for slow downloads.
