Is it you are gerting suspended for payment option?

Thats easy update the payment option

Then yoi can remove the old one

You cant remove it until you do and pay off the balance you owe

When you get suspended for payment option you are 21 days into your renewal and yes if they cant take it out in 21 days after renewal you will get suspended and remain that way till you pay off the balance

Now if its month to month renewal you used up most of your month

If three months or 12 months

Then pay off the balance and cancel the membership this will give you a prorated amount for the time you didnt use yet so 21 days assuming this is the 21 day

If you are trying to remove the payment optionwithin the terma of use like keeping your child away from purchases set a passcode for your profile

They should be on their own profile anyways

If you are worried about renewal and not currently suspended its easy

Turn off autorenewal and wait till your term is up snd then remove the payment option

You can remove it sooner by calling support and get a credited time back as long as its over 1month membership

Because rhey cant prorate you for less then a month

When you go to Contact Us, follow these steps to request a call from support:

• Step 1 ----click on Contact us
  
• Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
  
• Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next
  
  Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call
  

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

Yep or wait till your membership to expire if you have autorenewal off

If you are currently susspended because of payment optioin then you need to replace it and pay off the balance before you can remove the suspension

Also if you are receiving a promotional code deal you have to wait till 4-6weeks or whenever you receive the code because canceling before the code is issued will cancel the promotion

either it's cause of the outage or you just need to try again later, at least that's my best guess

If it is a credit card problem then go to Xbox.com > login > then >Billing and settings > then go to manage credit card and payments and once done remove Xbox one card that is removing you from Xbox live
