    Xbox captures have no sounds + can’t download.


    Does anyone else has the problem where your Xbox captures have no sounds to them and also you can’t download them through the Xbox app? I recorded a few clips when playing with my friend last night and none of the clips I recorded have sound to them and when I try to download them through the app, it would just show me a sad smiley face and I am unable to download said video.

    XBox Series X MSFS 2020 Faulty Recordings

    When you can’t trim clips and they have no sound, you have to change the Game Clip Resolution to 720p in the Game Capture Settings options. I had both of your issues and just fixed them so I feel your pain.

    I can’t see my video captures. I do can hear the video but the image is black.
    Is the capture something that you have captured on Xbox and are trying to view on PC? If so, then you may want to try downloading a media player like VLC.... someone else yesterday posted about the same thing using Windows Media Player and I believe it is because it doesn't have the correct codec to view an Xbox video file (at least I assume that's the case as they viewed it fine with VLC)

    It sounds like CTF, but with no flag and you dont have to return a captured flag? Is that right? You just have to get to their "area" to capture?

    Agreed. I have a YouTube channel and without captures I can’t get footage for videos. Thanks for the kindness to try to help though.
