xbox capture recording is REALLY bright

recording with the xbox game bar makes objects really bright. it takes anything white and makes it as white as possible (also saturates other colors too, but it isn't nearly as strong)

i've already reported this issue before but nobody was able to fix it.

this is a xbox capture issue because other softwares like obs record perfectly fine (i would use obs if it wasnt laggy)

i've had this issue ever since i started using the capture feature

i have my computer and xbox game bar updated to the latest version

system info: (i don't know what to add)
processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 2.10 GHz
system type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
edition: Windows 11 Home

the pictures got messed up so
-the top one is the one using the capture software
-the bottom one is what it is supposed to look like

i've also seen multiple other posts about this exact problem, yet they keep getting locked without any solution to the problem

There really is no other way than having an external capture device. It could be a camcorder, camera phone video, or a computer with a video capture card/device. You can not record gameplay on your Xbox. I know it's not what you want to hear, but you
need something besides an Xbox and your TV.

All I ever want is to take a screenshot sometimes, not really interested in recording stuff, but capturing that funny moment in a picture would be great.

Xbox One S by default captures 1080p with a max of 2 minutes.

Go to preferences > Broadcast & Capture

Under capture select Game clip resolution and choose 720p SDR. This will allow you to record 5 minutes. Be warned, the quality of video recordings will drop.

As others have stated, there is no way to record your audio while using the 'record from now' function.

I stream to mixer and that captures my mics audio, and it's really easy to do too.

The only other alternatives to a capture card is to stream directly from your console to Mixer or Twitch, or use the Xbox App on Windows 10 to stream your console's audio and video to the windows 10 device, then you can use some other software to record,
or stream. ( I hope that made sense).
