XBOX can't redeem 12 month membership

I've tried redeeming it a bunch of times but it won't work. It just says that something went wrong and couldn't work on there end or something. Microsoft please fix this if you can't can you at least get us a new code to redeem or something?

No. I have only 26 months of Xbox Live gold membership until 2022.04.20..

1 month in xbox one x jedi bundle, 12 months in annual membership, 12 months in redeem code, +1 bonus? month.. total 26 months..

You can add the 24 months of Ultimate to your existing subscription as long as it won't go over 36 months. If it were to go over the 36 months, you would need to wait until you have 12 months or less remaining on your subscription before redeeming the 24
months of Ultimate.

I've recently bought a 12-month Gold membership subscription of Amazon, received the code and have redeemed it. Yes there were problems with redeeming through the xbox 360 console itself, (error in service). So I decided to redeem it through the Xbox website
itself and had no problems at all. But since I have redeemed it, I still can't access multiplayer on games (Fifa 14) . Is it a matter of being patient?
