xbox - cant hear other players, is it parental lock settings & how to change

There is a chance that the Xbox Live privacy settings on your son's account are not correctly configured, and thus preventing him from communicating with other individuals. I would recommend taking a look a the article that covers

It would be worth focusing on the Communication & multiplayer setting and see if by configuring this you are able to resolve this matter.

I am sorry to hear that you've been locked out of your Xbox LIVE account.

Since you can't access the Parental Setting via your Xbox Console you will have to do it online at Xbox.com

Got to Xbox.com > Log in > select My Account > and in the Bottom right under Settings & Preferences select
Privacy and Online Settings.

From there you should be able to change your Parental Setting on your account, Let me know how it goes.

well what if i cant access my xbox settings it only says error child trying to access settings and redirects me to a page on how an parent can change the settings even when my account is an adult account?...

Can you go to
https://account.xbox.com/settings and are you able to change your online and privacy settings yourself?

If you get a page explaining how to add a child account to a parent account, your parents have to add your account to their adult parent account at
https://account.microsoft.com/family and add you to the family. Then your parent has to sign in on https://account.xbox.com/settings,
choose your account from the family list and make the necessary changes.

For Minecraft you need to allow multiplayer and to be able to view creations from other players.
