Hello Haden, when it says that the console is connected to a "wifi booster", it is working as a repeater of your internet signal, if so, when performing the update there may have been an error in reconfiguration of the device.

These devices need to be configured as a bridge so they can work and your console can get 1 IP address from the DHPC of your modem router.

In these cases, the ideal thing is to see the equipment's configuration manual and if you can't configure it correctly, you should call a network technician so that you can configure and verify your home network.

Try using one Ethernet cord and one wifi cord if not use two Ethernet cords. Also since the modem isn't connected to a computer it could be too Weak to support two xboxes

If you are only having packet loss in one specific game anf not all your games its probably an issue with a game and not your internet, also because you can't connect your xbox via Ethernet you could try connecting it though a power line adapter or even
a WiFi booster

If you plug in an Ethernet cable to your PC, the WiFi connection will stop on your PC because it should only be using the Ethernet connection. The only reason that I can think of for WiFi connecting and dropping is a problem with your Ethernet cable. If
changing the Ethernet cable doesn't work,
